Sound Healing
An hour of sound, while you rest.
A consultation and suitability screening are completed before your first treatment. See Before you book below.

A Sound Healing session lasts 60 minutes. You rest, fully clothed, while resonant sound fills the room — played by the practitioner from the voice and singing bowls, woven through with chimes, drums, rattles, bells and nature-sound instruments.
There is nothing to do and nothing to get right. You lie down or sit, whichever is more comfortable, and listen. Many clients describe it as deeply restful, and as a chance to switch off completely. No previous experience is needed.
At Health Pod Frodsham, Sound Healing is offered as a quiet, restful complementary wellbeing session. It does not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions and does not replace medical or psychological care. Individual experiences vary and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
What happens during a session
- A short chat first, so your practitioner knows how you would like the session to go and can answer any questions.
- You settle in — lying down or sitting, fully clothed, with whatever blankets or cushions make you comfortable.
- The sound begins: voice and singing bowls, woven with chimes, drums, rattles, bells and nature-sound instruments, played around you while you rest and listen.
- A quiet close, with time to come round before you leave.
Before your session
- Wear comfortable clothing — you stay fully clothed throughout
- Drink water before your session, and again afterwards

Frequently asked questions
What happens during a session?
After a short chat you settle down, fully clothed, and rest for the hour while the practitioner plays — voice and singing bowls, with chimes, drums, rattles, bells and nature-sound instruments. The session ends quietly, with time to come round before you leave.
Do I need any experience?
No. There is nothing to do and nothing to get right — you rest and listen. Most people come to their first session knowing nothing about it at all.
Will I be touched?
No. You stay fully clothed and there is no massage or hands-on work; the practitioner plays the instruments around you.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable clothing. Blankets and cushions are here if you want them. Please drink water before and after, and arrive about ten minutes early so you are not rushing.
How long is a session?
A Sound Healing session is 60 minutes. Your first appointment may take slightly longer to allow for consultation and aftercare advice.
