Aromatherapy Massage is a complementary wellbeing therapy combining massage with carefully selected essential oils, appropriately diluted in a carrier oil and chosen following your consultation and suitability.
Massage uses flowing, soothing movements with pressure adapted to your comfort. Our Full Body & Facial option adds an aromatherapy facial — cleanse, tone, gentle exfoliation, mask, scalp massage and moisturise — and a relaxing scalp massage.
At Health Pod Frodsham, Aromatherapy Massage is designed to create a relaxing, personalised experience and support general wellbeing. It does not diagnose, treat or cure medical or dermatological conditions and individual responses vary.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in the Full Body & Facial?
A 90-minute treatment: a full body aromatherapy massage followed by an aromatherapy facial (cleanse, tone, gentle exfoliation where suitable, mask, scalp massage and moisturise). Steps may be adapted if your skin is sensitive or unsuitable for a product.
Can essential oils cause a reaction?
Essential oils and skincare products can cause irritant or allergic skin reactions in some people. Please tell your therapist about all known allergies and sensitivities. Tell them immediately if you experience burning, significant itching, swelling or feel unwell.
I'm having cancer treatment — is this suitable?
Some cancer treatments can make skin more sensitive, so massage may need to be gentler or adapted. Clients undergoing cancer treatment may be directed to our appropriately trained oncology massage pathway where suitable.
